Our Story

It started with a belief.

Atlantik was born on the edge of West Limerick and North Kerry where the Atlantic meets the land, and where nature still works as it always has.

Founders Kevin and Eoin, both from West Limerick and childhood friends, always shared an entrepreneurial mindset. They had each experienced success in their own ventures, yet there was something about their home coastline that stayed with them, a sense that its natural potential had yet to be fully understood or realised.

They knew there was more to it.

That belief led them to Dr. Neil Maher, a Kerry native and one of the most advanced seaweed pioneers and natural cosmetic biochemists in the country. With decades of experience and a deep understanding of both nature and biochemistry, Neil brought the scientific depth needed to turn that early belief into something real.

Together, they set out to create something that didn’t yet exist.

Raising the Standard of Natural

At the time, natural cosmetics had not yet reached a level where they could truly outperform their synthetic counterparts.

So Atlantik set a new goal:

Not just to be natural but to be more effective than anything else on the market, while remaining the gentlest formulations possible, suitable even for the most compromised skin barriers.

To achieve this, the team had to go deeper.

Biochemistry became the foundation, not to override nature, but to work with it, unlocking its full potential.

Their philosophy from the beginning was simple:

Every part of Atlantik remains rooted in its origin.

- Seaweed is harvested by hand along the coast of Ballybunion

- Products are formulated in Listowel, Co. Kerry

- The entire process is built around working with nature, not against it
